老实讲，知道孙犁并不是从这篇《荷花淀》而得知的。初中的时候，一位好友曾介绍我去看孙犁的《铁木前传》，说这部作品甚至可以和海明威的《老人与海》有的一拼。由于当时的一些原因，错过了一本好书。所以，这次碰到他的代表作《荷花淀》，我认真仔细地阅读了一遍。结果让我有些吃惊，这篇处处洋溢着人性美的文章，让我情不自禁的读了第二遍。
